Another highly entertaining puzzle game, Shark Dash involves saving Sally the shark and defeating the pesky ducks who are infiltrating the bath tub. Launch Sharkee at the ducks by dragging his tail and master all 96 levels to get your girlfriend and your bathtub back. Plenty of achievements to unlock.
I love a great sim game but sadly Airport City doesn't quite cut the mustard. Upgrades are costly unless you have loads of friends playing alongside you and in-app purchases are a pet hate of mine. Gameplay is quite good, but not worth the money I'd need to spend.
Microsoft OneNote is now available in both free and paid app versions. Enabling you to create notes using text, images and bullet-points, manage to-do lists and keep everything in check using Microsoft SkyDrive, it's a must-have for those who use the desktop version.A great way to stay organised.
TweetCaster for Twitter is an awesome app. The interface is clean and intuitive and the app includes tons of excellent features such as photo effects, voice tweets and enhanced search and list functions. You can also manage multiple accounts, post simultaneously to Facebook and color code tweets.
Not content with uploading photos and video, Color for Facebook lets you share live content with your friends. Basically, your friends can see exactly what you're doing. It will probably appeal to certain people, but it feels a little bit like unnecessary over-share.Streaming quality isn't great either.
Help mother kangaroo travel from Perth to Sydney to rescue her Joey. Master the one-touch controls and navigate the 420 obstacle-filled levels. With gameplay starting where you left it off each time and ten new free levels per week, this will quickly become your latest addiction!
Police Scanner Radio sounded like great fun - tune in to police scanners from pretty much anywhere in the world and listen to what's going on. LAPD, Chicago Police, Dallas Police and Fire; you're bound to hear something interesting, right? Wrong! It's mainly white noise and hasn't been that entertaining.
This isn't a "can't live without it" kinda app but it's definitely a "make my life a bit easier" type. Allowing you to assign one of 10 solid coloured and 10 disco LED lights to your most-used contacts, the app lets you see at a glance who's trying to contact you. Assuming you remember the colours of course!
Possibly the ultimate geeky app! Marvel Events lets fans of Marvel heroes keep in touch with the Marvel Universe at live events. Keep up with tweets, schedules, signings, videos and more as they happen. You can also check-in to the event to connect with other fans and upload event photos.
Everyone's played a good, old-fashion bubble shooter game and that's exactly what this is. Shoot to clear as many sets of 3 or more bubbles of the same colour and gain high scores. Some strategy is required to get really high scores, so plan carefully. Sometimes, the oldies are the goodies.
