Color for Facebook

Not content with uploading photos and video, Color for Facebook lets you share live content with your friends. Basically, your friends can see exactly what you're doing. It will probably appeal to certain people, but it feels a little bit like unnecessary over-share.Streaming quality isn't great either.

Facebook confirm Skype video calling

So after months of speculation, Facebook have finally confirmed that a Skype video calling feature is to be added to the chat client. The new chat system will work in a similar way to the most recent version, with all your chat conversations, private messages and video calls for each friend stored in one place. Video calls can be started by clicking on a new video call button which will be added to the chat window. There will also be a sidebar featuring the people you chat to most. I for one cannot wait to give it a try!
