NBA JAM was a firm console favourite of mine as a teenager so I was hugely excited to see a mobile version! With over 30 teams, 3 play modes and all the features from the much-loved 90s game, it's a wonderful trip down retro gaming memory lane. Boomshakalaka!
The Daily was the first ever news app for iPad and has now expanded to iPhone. Featuring a wide selection of news covering topics such as business, arts, opinion and sports and new content every day, it's a fantastic way to keep on top of what's happening in the world.
This cute app lets you build your own dinosaur civilisation. Build a village, look after your cavemen and hatch baby dinosaurs. New dinosaurs are discoverable via breeding and you can expand your village and gain new decor by completing quests. It's pretty cool!In-app purchases are the only negative.
The new Avenger's movie is high on my must-see list and this comic is an excellent accessory. 15 pages of awesome Iron Man content, plenty of interactive elements and a great soundtrack put this app straight to the top of my hot list! Love it.

At last, a sequel to Virtual City! This fantastic new game sees you expanding to Florida, Utah, Nevada and Alaska as you choose from 73 buildings and 42 types of goods to master all 52 new levels. Can you earn all 98 special achievements? I definitely recommend trying!
My 6 year old loves this game! Kids can choose from either 4 or 9 piece puzzles, where they need to rotate the cubes to complete the 3D fruit. Once the puzzle is completed, the child is rewarded with dancing fruit. I'm also impressed with the child-friendly navigation.
