iA Writer

iA Writer is an iPad app aimed at writers, which features keyboard extensions, swipe undo/redos and more. It also supports Dropbox so sounds great at first. However, there is no foldering system so all documents are saved in one folder and can be tricky to find later. Almost but not quite!

Holographic iPhone keyboard

Anyone who has seen Minority Report will have drooled over Tom Cruise's holographic computer equipment. This video shows a similar set up for an iPhone - a holographic keyboard which is projected onto a desk or similar surface. Ok, so it's not real and it probably won't be anytime soon but still, it looks pretty sweet. When someone finally releases one, I will be there!

Liquid keyboard for iPad?

While iPads are pretty awesome and very few people dispute that, more than a handful of users have struggled with the onscreen keyboard. When working on long documents, the default keyboard can be a little frustrating and has led many users to purchase a separate unit. Inventors in Sydney have developed a "liquid keyboard" which allows users to type with all fingers as a traditional keyboard would, rather than with just one or two fingers at once like a normal touchscreen. Have a look at the attached video and let me know what you think - would it be an improvement?
