It's the announcement that iOS fans the world over have been waiting for - Apple have announced an iPhone event to take place in Cupertino on October 4th. The long awaited iPhone 5 will finally be announced and fans can plan their strategy for release day. It's strongly suspected that a cheaper version of the iPhone 4 will also be on the cards.
